Backup workflow
How to back up social media videos you created.
A simple, repeatable creator workflow for keeping approved copies of your public social videos.
Collect the public link
Start from the original public post, reel, clip, or pin. Copy the public link so the downloader can read the same source a viewer would see.
Confirm the rights
Before saving, confirm that you created the video, own it, manage it for a client, or have permission to keep a copy. This step keeps your workflow clean.
Prepare the media option
Paste the link into All Social Saver and review the available media options. If the content is supported, Pro users can download the file through the web flow.
Rename the file immediately
Use a naming format such as platform-date-campaign-topic. A useful filename saves hours when you need the clip for a report or portfolio later.
Keep a small tracking sheet
For serious creator work, track the original URL, save date, campaign, client, and usage permission. That lightweight record makes your archive defensible and searchable.
Quick checklist
- Use supported public links.
- Save content you created, own, or have permission to keep.
- Keep the original URL beside the file.
